“Adi joined us for the birth of our second son after I felt that I wanted more calming and spiritual guidance after my first birthing experience 2.5 years prior. I knew from our first conversation that Adi would be a perfect fit as she immediately put me at ease with both her own experience and knowledge, as well as her supportive nature about my choices surrounding my labor. She was extremely communicative in the lead up to my labor, and supported me physically and emotionally for 10 hours in the hospital during my labor and birth with hip squeezes, words of affirmation and her incredibly calming nature. My husband also deeply appreciated having Adi with us as she helped to reassure and support him as well.”

I am so grateful I had Adi as my doula for my first pregnancy and birth. Her calm and comforting demeanor helped me feel grounded as I approached my birth portal. During several of our meetings, she willingly stayed longer than scheduled to make sure all of my and my husband’s questions were answered, and my fears/ concerns addressed. And truthfully, I don’t know what I would have done if she wasn’t there during my labor. She held me with such love and tenderness (both figuratively and metaphorically), and when my labor wasn’t progressing as I’d hoped/planned, she was the most amazing advocate for me in the hospital to make sure I had all the information before making decisions. Adi will forever be an important part of our family-experience and will highly recommend her services to future Mother's-to-be. Adi’s presence and stability allowed us to get through one of the hardest times of our life (the labor experience and it not going as we hoped). I appreciate her knowledge and expertise, and am grateful we had her with us on this journey.

“My fiancé and I recently had our first child, Luna at Kaiser Oakland. Since it was our first time, we wanted to make sure we had all of the support we needed and hired Adi as our Doula. That was the best decision we made as we prepared to have Luna, because we had no idea what we were in for. Adi was there for the 24-36 birth/labor and gave us support and guidance the whole way. She acted as our champion that was independent of the hospital and made sure we understood everything that was happening. We encountered some issues where Luna’s heart rate dropped every contraction and after 24 hours of labor, we went in for a C section. She reassured us that approach we were taking was the best one and provided us with a level of comfort as we went into the unknown. I would highly recommend that you hire Adi as a Doula and she will make the process much easier for you and your family. ”
